Conchas are a kind of Mexican pan dulce. These fluffy homemade morning buns are easy to make! Decorate them with hearts or any shape you like!
You'll only need a few simple ingredients to make these pink Mexican conchas.
Make the concha dough, then let it rise until it has doubled in size.
Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet.
Make the sugar topping. It is white so you can add any color you like!
For these conchas I used pink, red and white. Feel free to mix up the colors and use your favorite.
Use some of the sugar topping to make a shape. Any shape you want works.
Add the shapes you made to the top of your conchas.
Bake your conchas until they are golden and fluffy.
Serve with coffee or a cold glass of milk!
