These "nearly" cosmic brownies are fudgy, chewy and SO GOOD.
Little Debbie's company created Cosmic Brownies in 1999 with the "cosmic bowling" trend in mind. Think colorful lights and lasers! These homemade brownies are "nearly" cosmic because they use plant-based sprinkles instead of candy bits. No artificial red food dye here!
Simple ingredients come together to make an easy brownie batter. Just mix it all up in a bowl.
Spread the brownie batter into a pan and bake it up! These brownies bake in 25 minutes.
Once the baked brownies have cooled, mix up a quick chocolate ganache and pour it on top.
Add as many sprinkles as you want! You could also use crushed cookies, M&Ms, or your favorite candy bars chopped up.
Place in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the frosting to harden and set.
Cut the brownies with a sharp knife and dig in! Nearly Cosmic Brownies for the dessert win. :)
