In two bowls, mix up the wet and dry ingredients.
Briefly cook the apple slices in butter and cinnamon sugar until tender.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Pour the oatmeal batter into a prepared 9x13 dish, then spoon in the apples.
