Two mango mojitos in tall glasses with orange straws

5 from 1 reviews

This Mango Mojito is sweetened with pure maple syrup and only take a couple minutes to make. You’re going to love this easy and refreshing cocktail recipe that’s perfect for warm weather!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 1/2 a lime
  • 4 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnich
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 4 oz mango nectar
  • Sparkling Water or Plain Seltzer
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Add ice to a tall glass. I usually fill it about 1/3 to 1/2 full, depending on how tall the glass is.
  • Muddle the mint. Place the mint leaves at the bottom of your cocktail shaker, then firmly mash the leaves with a muddler 4-5 times to release the juices. Don’t pulverize the mint.
  • Shake the cocktail ingredients together. Add the rum, lime juice, maple syrup and mango nectar. Add a handful of ice to chill the ingredients. Add the lid to your cocktail shaker, then shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  • Strain the cocktail into the glass with ice.
  • Top off with sparking water.
  • Garnish and serve. I like to add a few more mint leaves to the cocktail and mix them in.

Notes

To make a mocktail mojito: Leave the rum out and use a touch more sparkling water. If you want to get a little fancier, you can also swap plain sparkling water for lime flavored sparkling water.
